ABOUT RENEWABLE AVENEL ENERGY (RAE)
RAE was established in response to two urgent challenges facing our community: increasing energy costs and the need to reduce carbon emissions. Backed by scientific evidence and community concern, we believe renewable energy is key to a healthier, more affordable, and more sustainable future.
Our vision is bold but achievable — to make Avenel a "Totally Renewable Town". As an incorporated body and registered charity, RAE operates under a clear strategic plan, strong governance, and deep community partnerships.

OUR MISSION
To support residents in Avenel and surrounding areas to transition to cheaper, cleaner and more reliable renewable energy — while strengthening community resilience and reducing our collective impact on the climate.
Our mission is grounded in the belief that climate action starts at the local level. By focusing on households, community buildings and shared infrastructure, we help people take practical steps that reduce energy costs, improve health outcomes, and build long-term energy security for Avenel.
