RAE regularly hosts community events designed to educate, inspire, and empower people to take action on renewable energy.

These include information sessions, community gatherings, and large-scale events that bring together residents, students, experts, and renewable energy providers.

PAST HIGHLIGHTS

HOME ENERGY EXPO (2025):

Attended by over 200 community members, with participation from Euroa Secondary College and Avenel Primary School. Featuring multiple renewable energy exhibits and keynote speaker Dr Karl, the event focused on practical pathways to adopting renewable energy at home.

Our events are made possible through partnerships with organisations such as AUSNET, Strathbogie Shire, and other renewable energy groups.​

ABOUT US >

Renewable Energy Avenel (RAE) is a community-led organisation formed in 2020, driven by growing concerns around rising power bills and the environmental impact of fossil fuels. We exist to support residents of Avenel and surrounding areas to transition to cleaner, more affordable renewable energy. By providing education, financial support, and practical projects, we aim to reduce household energy costs while protecting the planet for future generations.
